Long Way Home eBook Christopher Ruz Reviews
This is the first short story I ever read by Christopher Ruz and it's the one that got me hooked on his writing. The world he creates in it is exquisitely detailed with landscapes and characters that tickle the imagination and leave you wanting so much more. If you enjoy science fiction and characters that are written so well you feel like you've known them since birth, you will enjoy this story. Just reading about the planet's geography and ecology is reason enough to read "Long Way Home." I cannot get enough of those gypsum trees!
I am really impressed that a short story could bring me into the environment of the character that quickly.
It's a hopeful sadness this story gives.
This short story in not really up lifting. However it will give you for thought. this is about what a solider goes through to serve his country.
